The Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya has finalized plans to celebrate the 2600th Anniversary of the Buddha’s attainment of Enlightenment which falls on this Vesak Fullmoon Day of 2011 May. These celebration activities will be spread throughout the year following the Vesak Fullmoon day. Theses activities include deliverance of special Dhamma discourses, observance of Sill, Special display of decorated lanterns, screening of Buddhist documentaries etc.,
